Report: Memphis home prices could rise 1% in 2010

Memphis has been identified as one of five metro areas of the U.S. expected to see modest upticks in housing prices this year.

According to SmartMoney, Moody’s expects Memphis to see a 0.99 percent jump in housing prices this year, putting it second behind Tacoma, Wash., where housing is expected to climb 2.44 percent.
